After heavy lobbying by businessmen, Henrietta became a logistical supply point for various operations in north-central Texas, including quarrying in Foard and Archer counties.

It is 20 miles (32 km) southeast of Wichita Falls, 28 miles (45 km) northwest of Bowie, and 95 miles (153 km) northwest of Fort Worth.

According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, Henrietta has a total region of 5.2 square miles (13.4 km2), of which 5.1 square miles (13.1 km2) is territory and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km2), or 1.98%, is water. The town/city is served by the Henrietta Independent School District.
